After taking a bit of time out of the limelight, singing sensation Imran Khan is reportedly in plans to return to music, with a number of high profile collaborations planned for the coming year.
The Bewafa singer has already revealed he’s planning to work with US artist T-Pain on a new track, the details of which have not been fully released. However another rumour sweeping the Asian music scene is that Imran Khan is planning to work with Bollywood singer, Atif Aslam.
Imran Khan started the rumour himself by writing on his Twitter blog “Big up Atif Aslam” before posting a picture of himself with the former Jal singer on the micro blogging website where the two men were pictured looking slick in sharp suits and shades.
Although all of the signs point to a collaboration between Imran Khan and Atif Aslam, there’s been no official word from either of the artists’ representatives to confirm that the pair are working together on a musical project.
Atif Aslam shot to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Jal, before leaving the group to try his hand as a solo artist in 2004. The gamble paid off, with Aslam achieving a string of Bollywood hits including Tere Bin and Jalpuri and 3 bestselling albums.
If the rumours of a collaboration with Atif Aslam are true, it could provide an opening into Bollywood for up and coming singer Imran Khan.
